Hello!

A Journey Toward Wholeness

My path to becoming a counselor began in the quiet, difficult spaces of high-control environments. I know firsthand what it feels like to live under a system of shame-based logic—where fear and conformity are demanded, and your own voice is slowly silenced. My own healing required a deep, intentional process of deconstruction. I had to learn how to untangle my true self from the expectations and "default settings" of fear that were placed on me before I was old enough to consent. Reclaiming my autonomy wasn't just a choice; it was a necessity for my survival and my peace.

Alongside that journey, I spent twenty-five years learning how to navigate life with an antagonistic, low-empathy person in a high-stakes environment. I didn't learn about boundaries, gaslighting, or emotional protection from a textbook; I learned them through decades of lived experience. I understand the exhaustion of protecting a sensitive mind from emotional coercion, and I know the profound strength it takes to keep your heart open despite it.

These experiences became the foundation for how I raised my own children. As a mother to Twice-Exceptional (2e) and high-IQ kids, I saw how easily their brilliant, sensitive, and non-conformist spirits could be misunderstood or targeted. I realized that traditional models of "compliance" were not what they needed. Instead, they needed to understand the world around them—to recognize patterns of behavior and protect their own sense of justice without losing their spark.

Today, my practice at Wholeheart Counseling is the culmination of everything I have lived through. I am not here to be a distant authority figure who tells you how to "fit in" to a world that may feel broken to you. I am here as a fellow traveler and a dedicated guide.

Whether we are working through religious trauma, healing from a narcissistic family system, or supporting the unique needs of a gifted mind, my goal is the same: to help you trust your own internal compass. I want to help you dismantle the things that no longer serve you so that you can finally build a life of unapologetic wholeness and peace.
